Possible Complications After Gynecomastia Surgery

There are certain complications that may occur in the first 2 weeks of your gynecomastia surgery.

This may include pain, which is described as an ache, like the pain after an excessive workout.

Some patients may experience swelling, bruising, which may change in colour over time. It may start yellow and it may change shape or shift down.

Some patients experience numbness around the scar, and this usually subsides in 2 months.

Some patients may experience itching. We often give an antihistamine for this.
